Marisa is a third-generation Chicana, a facilitator, a healing-centered coach, a life-long learner, and a deep believer in justice and liberation. As a consultant, Marisa focuses on experience design, facilitation, and culture change. Marisa grounds her approach in practices of emergent strategy and liberatory design, centering equity and inclusion while drawing on her experiences as a non-profit leader, educator, and facilitator. As a healing-centered coach, she grounds her practice in deep listening and the building of awareness that supports coachees to connect more deeply to their own power.

Marisa has 15+ years of experience designing, facilitating, and leading teams, programs, and trainings. She is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC), holds a Master’s of Education from Arizona State University and a Bachelor’s of Sociology from Boston College. Marisa currently lives on Tongva Land in Los Angeles.
