  • Charlie Arreola is a trusted partner who creates impactful results, an effective storyteller who empowers others to take action, and a creative change maker who actively fights against inequity. At Adelante Partners, he serves as Chief of Staff to the CEO, where he will provide executive level advising, manage strategic initiatives, and oversee personnel, operations, program management, marketing and branding.

    In his professional career, Charlie has worked as an educator for students and families in the neighborhood of Columbia Heights in Washington, DC, organized the communities of North and East Las Vegas for President Obama’s reelection campaign, managed teams who organized communities across the country to pass laws improving K-12 public education, served as Legislative Director for the L.A. City Controller, raised funding in support of direct service programs benefiting young children in underserved communities, and most recently led a global campaign that engaged over 2 million participants.

    Passionate about solving problems in his community, Charlie raises funds for various causes and candidates. He is an avid cyclist who, to date, has raised over $65,000 from his community, to support HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention through the AIDS/LifeCycle.

    Charlie is the proud son of Mexican immigrant parents, a native of Los Angeles who was raised in the MacArthur Park Community and a product of LAUSD inner-city public schools. A first-generation college graduate, Charlie earned a BA in Political Science and a minor in Educational Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Charlie, his partner and dog, Pinto, live in Boyle Heights.
