Alma has 20 years of experience providing local governments and organizations the added boost needed to get important work done. She provides her clients with a range of expertise grounded in equity that include: strategic planning, human-centered design, monitoring and evaluation, and partnership development. Alma recently led a five year strategic planning engagement with the Growing Inland Achievement (GIA), whose mission is to increase educational attainment in the Inland Empire in California. She’s an expert in integrating data-driven approaches to transform radical complex challenges into actionable and impactful strategies to address them. Alma holds a double Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Gender Studies from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) and a Master’s in Public Administration from New York University (NYU).
